Then, Cruger asks Kayla why she was wearing a necklace he has never seen. Kayla tells him that her necklace was special, but he orders her to get rid of it, saying it was riducluous. Kayla was offended by Cruger's remark about her necklace and runs away. Susie sees Kayla running off and realizes that Cruger was way out of line. Back at the base, Arianna Smith tells the Galactic Force rangers that Cruger is still angry that Bridge had left SPD to be with Anna and believe that he is taking his anger out on Kayla because she was Anna's cousin. This upsets Susie that Cruger would bully a teenager because of his anger on his former cadet's relationship with her best friend. Meanwhile, the SPD rangers were still in disbelief that a Power Ranger would stand out to Cruger and insult him. Bridge comes in the room and see Cruger still angry. He asks what was going on with him. Cruger explains that he is angry that Bridge threw away his career in Space Patrol Delta to be with Anna, who belonged in a different timeline and Bridge didn't. Still, Bridge questions Cruger's problem with Kayla Thomas and Jocelyn Phillips. He explains that they disobeyed him and let Vexica and her army get away. Bridge takes the girls's side, much to Cruger and the rangers' surprise, and tells him that they are rangers in this timeline and they are just teenagers who sometimes don't just follow orders. Cruger yells at the fact that Kayla not only disobeyed him but disrespected him and he also ordered her to remove her necklace. Bridge was stunned that Cruger insulted Kayla's necklace. He explained to him that Kayla's necklace belong to her late mother and that she wears it to keep it close to her heart. Realizing that he made a mistake about Kayla's necklace and that fact he bullied her because she was Anna's cousin, Cruger tried to apologize to her.
