Without prejudice, he carries out his duty under the laughing white mask and strikes fear into the hearts of every man, woman, child or monster that dares to make an enemy of his village. Among his fellow acquaintances in the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Saihō is viewed with eyes that convey prejudice. He wields the so-called elegant longsword in a manner seemingly "unbefitting" of a true swordsman. Unbeknownst to his fellow swordsmen, it is Saihō's dedication to bringing about Nuibari's true potential that signifies his status as a swordsman, as opposed to guidelines that have no place among swordsmen representing the fluidity of water.
