Guld was a City Watch sergeant in Lamentable Moll. As the city's most experienced investigator of murderous crimes, he was sharp witted, thorough, and effective. He was famous in Moll for never failing to solve a case and he was favored by King Seljure. The king's interest gave him official influence greater than his rank would indicate. He was fond of asking the insensitive questions that made him successful at his job.

  • Guld was a City Watch sergeant in Lamentable Moll. Guld often spent time atop Sekarand's Tower scanning the city and observing signals from his guardsmen. He began using the tower after the original owner, High Sorceror Sekarand, fell to his death from its merlons. The tower was haunted by shades and a lich, which Guld encouraged to moan and howl to keep away trespassers. Guld quickly solved the murder of Luksor, who was found drowned in his bed. He tortured the assassin for days until he was able to determine the identity of the person who ordered the attack. Presumably, Guld wore the standard uniform of the city's death-detail: a blue-stained bronze ringed hauberk, a lobster-tailed bowl helm, and heavy leather-padded shoulder guards.
