The UNSC High Command (HIGHCOM) is a group of military leaders in the United Nations Space Command Defence Force who advise the civilian government of the UNSC. HIGHCOM is defined by statute and consists of a Chairman and Vice Chairman appointed by the Secretary-General of the UEG, and the Chiefs of service from the four branches of the armed services. These officers are the highest ranking personnel in their services, and fulfill the same role as a Chiefs of Staff Committee or Joint Chiefs of Staff.
