  • The Mad Doctor is the name of the man who processes Thick Blood into stat-augmenting serum. He chiefly does this by operating a machine that seemingly strains the plasma out of the blood; however, it is a somewhat sensitive contraption, as it can only handle so large a volume of the fluid before breaking down, causing the Mad Doctor to attempt to correct the problem, hit it futilely, and then give up, hanging an "Out of Order" sign across it and walking away. (Since Thick Blood does not carry over to the next stage, it is in the player's best interest to reach this breaking point every single time.) The machine's limit does increase each stage, allowing the player to become successively more powerful over the course of the game. The Mad Doctor resides on Channel B. Some players interpret h
  • Ah, medicine! The wonderful science of putting people back together... or pulling them apart. Let's face it, there's just something inherently creepy about medical doctors. Their profession is one that centers around guts, organs, blood and bones, things that could make the most hardened badass vomit on the spot and they don't even flinch during their operations day after day after day. They can take a knife to a man's flesh, open him up like a zip-lock bag, do lord-knows-what to the insides of their patients and close them up again, ready for the next patient. And they're always so... jolly.
  • The Mad Doctor is the main villain of the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Mad Doctor" from 1933. It is unknown what his real name is, but a notice outside his door calls him "Dr. XXX". The Mad Doctor's experiment was to kidnap Pluto and graft his head onto the body of a chicken. When Mickey arrived to try and rescue him he was captured by the Mad Doctor and was about to be cut apart by a circular saw, but it turned out that the whole ordeal was Mickey Mouse's dream - therefore the actual existance of the Mad Doctor is questionable.
