Lindsey had not wanted to name her son after any male in her family so their first child was named after Rob's father and younger brother. When Lindsey had first become pregnant, she had wanted to move out of Guilford, possibly to Southern California where Rob was born and raised. Although she liked living in Maine, she felt it was on the edge of civilization since the Supervolcano eruption and wanted to move somewhere where her child had a future greater than that of hunter-gathered that seemed inevitable if they remained. Rob pointed out that the University of Maine in Orono was still a going concern, and that there still was a future for them if they remained. Lindsey wasn't fully convinced but they remained in Guilford after the birth of Colin Marshall.
