Mapplethorpe is shown getting his start as a carnival caricaturist, offering to draw a young boy's favorite baseball player, in this case outfielder Reggie Jackson, performing the infamous "Cleveland steamer" in "A Picture's Worth a Thousand Bucks" and was voiced by Joey Slotnick. In "Herpe, the Love Sore" a coked-up giraffe brings a platter to Donna Summer's table which is revealed to have Robert Mapplethorpe inside. Robert asks the giraffe if he can place a fire extinguisher "someplace interesting" and take his picture.
