There are several dozen species closely related to yugolothi of varying degrees of power, such as marraenolothi (Yugoluthus marraenolothus) and Vuiredothi (Yugoluthus vuiredothus). Their progenitors are thought to be ancient, diseased baernalothi (Yugoluthus baernalothus). They are neutral regarding the affairs of the other fiendish races, interfering only at choice times. The yugolothi are thoughtful, secretive, and clever by nature, often acting as soldiers for deities in their own private wars. Although djinni are sometimes called by the name of demon, they are of an entirely different species with the same basic concept of free will but no defined body.
