Allmendinger and sponsored by Valvoline. * David Reutimann will drive the #00, with Aarons returning as sponsor. * The #10 will close, its team and driver points will go to #44. * Juicy Fruit and Big Red will sponsor the #42. * Roush Racing sponsor the #99 Ford. * Bill Davis Racing may not run this season, the #22 is unsponsored. * Regan Smith will drive the #78 Chevrolet. * Bobby Labonte will drive the #96 Hall of Fame Racing Toyota. * The #38 has closed its team and drivers points will go to #96. * Bill Elliott will drive the #21 but a sponsor is needed. * Marcos Ambrose (driver of the #47 Little Debbies Toyota) will attempt a full Cup season. * The status of the #28 has yet to be determined, Kvapil has resigned. * Robby Gordon will return with sponsor Jim Beam * Verizon Wireless bought out Alltel and take over as sponsor of the #12. * Elliott Sadler has resigned and will return in the #19. * Crew chief Tommy Baldwin has formed his own team Tommy Baldwin Racing, he will field the #36 Toyota driven by Scott Riggs. * Terry Labonte and Prism Motorsports will attempt a full season with thier #66 Toyota. * Larry Gunselman plans to field the #64 Toyota full time. * The #41 is now #39 driven by John Andretti. * Jeremy Mayfield got right to use the #41, he plans to run a full cup season in the #41 All Sport Toyota. * Scott Riggs is no longer driving the #36 Toyota, it is now driven by Mike Skinner and Patrick Carpentier.
