Romantiqueo's main musical engine is based on Reggaeton, however it comes to resembles R&B very often. Romantiqueo was rarely used until late the late 90's, when then newcomers Magnate y Valentino brought it to a much wider audience. Zion y Lennox are considered to be the pioneers of Romantiqueo in the new school scene of Reggaeton. Today, more and more singers slowly adapting to it like Zion y Lennox, Magnate y Valentino, Tito "El Bambino", De La Ghetto, Randy, Don Omar, Divino, RKM & Ken-Y, Cruzito (Singer) and Baby Rasta & Gringo are among those who have made a name in the genre.
