abstract
| - The United States of America, commonly referred to as the United States (U.S.), is a federal republic located in North America. It is bordered by Wabash, Brazoria to the west, Canada to the northwest, Haiti to the west of the state of Dominica, and maritime borders with Westland and Cuba near Quebec and Florida. Founded in 1776 after rebelling against the tyrannical rule of Morgan Gloucestershire, the United Colonies declared their independence from colonial rule on July 4th, 1776. The revolutionary war was a grueling fight, however with the help of Spain and the Dutch Republic, along with subsequent rebellions in Lower Canada, Acadia and Wabash, the United States was victorious in 1781 and peace was established in 1783 with the Treaty of Paris. Between 1783 and 1788, the United States transformed itself from being a confederation to a federal republic, with George Washington becoming it's first president. During the 1790s, the Americans were supportive of the French rebellions against Britannic rule and backed Napoleon Bonaparte during the revolutions. Ultimately, the Americans and Britannia went to war in 1812, and ended with a stalemate due to the American dominance of the east Atlantic coast. Between the War of 1812 and the American Civil War, the United States entered a time of population growth and political change. With the rising tension between the free-states of the north (from Quebec to Pennsylvania) and the slave-states (Maryland to Florida), Congress debated for decades over the legality of slavery and maintained a balance between the states until the election of Abraham Lincoln in 1860. From 1860 to 1861, several slave-states broke away and formed the Confederate States of America. Four years of vigorous fighting saw to the Confederacy being by 1865 with the help of Wabash and Sierran volunteers. The United States abolished slavery and granted blacks the right to vote during the Reconstruction period. In 1917, the Americans declared war on Germany after unrestricted submarine warfare and pressure by the Entente, marking the U.S.' involvement in World War I. After 1918, the United States reentered a state of isolationism until 1941, when the Japanese Empire attacked Sierra, triggering the American entry per the Monroe Doctrine. A long fight until 1945 ensured an Allied victory over the Axis Powers and the beginning of the First Cold War, as well as the emergence of the United States as a superpower.
