The Nissan CALSONIC SKYLINE GT-R Race Car '93 was a race car produced by Nissan to compete in the 1993 Japan Touring Car Championship (Later to become the All-Japan Grand Touring Championship, or JGTC). This race version of the homologated R32 NISMO Skyline GT-R has made its first appearance in Gran Turismo 2 as a racing modified variant of the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R (R32) '89 and the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R (R32) '91, before becoming a separate car in the later games of the series, starting from Gran Turismo 4.
