The Original Pantry Cafe – otherwise known as the Pantry – is a coffee shop and restaurant located on Figueroa Street in the South Park district of Downtown Los Angeles. The restaurant is owned by Los Angeles mayor Richard J. Riordan, and is listed as Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #255. On the morning of 21 May 1991, LAPD detective Harry Bosch visited the Pantry for a breakfast of coffee, toast, and an omelet. In April of 1994, detective Bosch met with Los Angeles Times crime reporter Keisha Russell at the Pantry to discuss an article concerning the 1962 death of John Fox.
