The Carbine-13/Modular Radioactive Ammunition/Caseless Individual Combat Weapon System, known more commonly as the C-13/M RA/C ICWS and/or C-13 Carbine (often without the hyphen), was the first main service rifle employed by the Orion Empire. Seeing its first use in August of 2933, the C-13 was the first small arms breakthrough achieved by Imperial engineers. Much like the Type-51 Carbine used through the mid-twenty-seventh century, it chambered a caseless, radioactive projectile of strictly classified composition. Unlike the green glare of the Type-51's bullet, however, the rounds of the C-13 gave radiated a deep hue of blue.
