Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, also known as Ninja Gaiden Σ2 Plus, is an updated port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PlayStation Vita. It was released in Japan on February 28, 2013. Like the previous Vita port, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus features the Hero difficulty setting, which allows Ryu to automatically block, dodge, and have access to infinite ninpo when he is low on health.

Like the previous Vita port, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus features the Hero difficulty setting, which allows Ryu to automatically block, dodge, and have access to infinite ninpo when he is low on health. In addition, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus introduces two new modes, Ninja Race and Turbo. In Ninja Race mode Ryu races toward a goal, grabbing items for a speed boost and chaining kills to increase his attack power. Turbo mode has players going through Chapters at high-speed.
