The score was recorded by the London Studio Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, England. The album was released on September 26, 2007 by Starchild. The executive producers are Hideaki Anno and Toshimichi Otsuki while Shirō Sagisu produced the music (acting also as the composer and conductor) and Tomohiro Ogawa.
