A rather old starfighter, the C-73 was one of the last designs produced by Subpro before they started producing the Z-95 Headhunter with Incom Corporation. By modern standards, the original C-73 is little more than cannon fodder with its low -powered engines, weak hull, and small armament. It's main redeeming grace it is low price, which often makes it the choice of more desperate groups like rebels and outlaws. Several outer rim companies still produce copies of the C-73, and several more make their own variations which put them on par with more modern starfighters. Most owners attempt to modify their craft and find that parts compatible with the newer Z-95 work on the C-73. Like the Cloakshape fighter, it's extremely unusual to run into a stock C-73s.
