| - Previous: Weimar Communists Coup the Government (CYOAH) The government of the SRG realizes that their rule is not secure yet. There is still a lot of anti-communist sentiment in Germany, and leaving it unchecked could result in the destruction of everything they have worked for. They spurn the advances of the Soviet Union, and focus on improving their internal rule. Under the communist rule of the SRG, the land is collectivized, and the economy starts improving. Outside the country, the USSR is humiliated in proxy wars, and their influence starts collapsing. The SRG realizes that advocating and following pure communism will inevitably end up with them isolated from any allies with a common ideology, and surrounded by hostile states. They begin advertising themselves as Socialist, not Communist in order to increase their chances of survival. The Soviet Union, in one last desperate bid to assure their dominance, launch their armies into Poland in an attempt to conquer them. As Poland falls, the capitalist Allies gear up to fight off the incoming Soviet invasion, and to help Poland survive the onslaught. The socialist SRG has a tough decision to make. they can either aid the Allies in delivering the crushing blows to the armies of the USSR, or they could aid the Communist USSR in their conquest of Europe. That will surely get them territory from a grateful Stalin, but will run the risk of harsh punishment from the Allies if they lose. they could also wait it out for a bit, to see who has a better chance of winning. How does the government of the SRG decide? Created by: Azecreth 22:01, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
