This enactment shall also serve as a deal of amnesty for a number of Nobles who have been held under the authority of the Imperial Law for crimes against the Empire and Her People. Such criminals shall be released from Imperial confinement as Freelanders, removed from the peerage of the Empire's Nobility and granted the chance to begin a new life that does not offend against the laws and customs of the Imperium and/or the Honored Noble House from which they hail and embarrassed with their actions. Such marks against the Noble Houses that these criminals are associated with shall be stricken from the record and never spoken of again. As it is written, so shall it be done.
