Francis Louis of Palatinate-Neuburg (German: Franz Ludwig von Pfalz-Neuburg) (18 July 1664 - 6 April 1732) was the Bishop of Wrocław from 1683 until 1732, the Bishop of Osnabrück from 1694 until 1732, the Grandmaster of the Teutonic Order from 1694 until 1632, the Archbishop of Trier from 1716 until 1729, and the Archbishop of Mainz from 1729 until 1732.

  • Francis Louis of Palatinate-Neuburg (German: Franz Ludwig von Pfalz-Neuburg) (18 July 1664 - 6 April 1732) was the Bishop of Wrocław from 1683 until 1732, the Bishop of Osnabrück from 1694 until 1732, the Grandmaster of the Teutonic Order from 1694 until 1632, the Archbishop of Trier from 1716 until 1729, and the Archbishop of Mainz from 1729 until 1732. Francis Louis was born in Neuburg an der Donau as a son of the Elector Palatine Philip William. After his brother Wolfgang George Frederick died unexpectedly, in 1683 Francis Louis became the Bishop of Wrocław. In 1694 he became the Grandmaster of the Teutonic Knights and the Bishop of Worms. In 1716 he was elected the Archbishop of Trier. As Archbishop, he renovated the Cathedral of Trier and the Roman bridge across the Moselle. He was elected the Archbishop of Mainz in 1729, but as the Pope refused to allow the merging of two Archbishoprics Francis Louis had to abandon the Archbishopric of Trier. He began to undertake some reforms in Mainz when he died in 1732. He was buried in a chapel of Wrocław Cathedral.
