Deep spce 6 is located in the Beta Quadrant near the Zeta Gelis cluster. It's primary goal was a listening post for Romulan activities, and observatory, and science station. In 2376 the USS Expedition (NCC-76277), USS Akron, and USS Forrestal came to the defense of the station when a Borg sphere attempted to assimilate the station. They later found the prescence of a Borg transwarp hub in the cluster.
