The Guilsons is a 1937 Musical Comedy composed by Richard Rodgers, with Lyrics by Lorenz Hart and Book by Ludwig Bemelmans. It opened in New York to extremely positive reviews and was a Smash-Hit, both Critically and Financially. A 1938 Hollywood film of the same name reunites the original Broadway cast and uses all the songs with the plot exactly as it was on Stage, making it the most complete Musical Film in Hollywood History.
