The next day, I was stamping out the fire with my right mechanical foot that Chelsea build for me. I'm still wondering what the hell is going on. Lamp was still asleep, curled around in the cloth I wrapped around her. I grumbled as I stamped out the last flame, that's when she woke up. "Good morning..." She yawned. I looked up at her to reply, but I saw this shadow coming out of the corner. The only one I know who has a flaming, bloody, eyeless head is my dead wife Chelsea. She seemed even more pissed this time. "What the hell do you want..." I glared at her. "No" "Tim, I need to know-"

  • The next day, I was stamping out the fire with my right mechanical foot that Chelsea build for me. "Hmhm...I saw what happened last night, between you too" She said, smirking with her arms crossed. "It's a pity you still follow the mortal life of a relationship during your dead time" I smiled back at her, "wasting your afterlife chasing after a husband who knows you're gone" Her smirk turned into a clench, she rushed at me, shrieking. Lamp was completely oblivious to Chelsea. I drew my scythe and stabbed Chelsea in the heart, who laughed at me as the spear went through her like air. "Fool...you can't kill what's already dead" She growled, grabbing my arm. Her grip was really cold and tight. "Are you okay Tim?" Lamp called out from the back. "I'm fine Lamp..." I didn't take my eyes off Chelsea, "Look if you're here to take me to hell, I'm afraid you're early" my "live" claw glowed, and I slashed Chelsea with some sort of dark, ghostly slash. She shrieked in agony as she backed away from me. "Hmhm...I'll get you one day Tim..." She smirked, holding her wound, "And when I do...you'll wish you never came here!" She faded away in the darkness. I panted, then looked down. Was Chelsea really right? Have I become such a monster that I deserve to be in Hell? I looked at my claws. Was this my destiny here? To live a life of agony and contuing hate? Lamp's hand rested on my shoulder gently, I turned around at her. "...did you have the dream again?" She asked worringly. I shrugged her off and wrapped up the cloth. "No" "Tim, I need to know-" "Lamp" I rose, holding the cloth. "It's not safe here" Lamp began to hesitate, but then nodded in agreement. From our 2 story position, we loomed over the cave like kings and queens, dominate over the glowing crystals below us. I hoped onto Lamp's back, she flew down like the air-fish she is, and continued her way out to the passage away from the entrance we came in from. Several dead ends were met, but we eventually found our way out to a forest. For a moment I felt in peace. Nothing was touched in the forest, not the creatures, not the trees, I felt afloat in the glimmer of warm sunligth that shrouded us. Lamp seemed to enjoy it too. "It used to be like this everywhere..." Lamp said as a couple of purple butterflies flew past us. "Until the humans came of course" "You can't blame the humans for everything Lamp, it's not entirely their fault here" Lamp halted, throwing me off her back. She looked down at me, glaring. "It is their fault..." She said, holding her anger back. "They killed for more land...do you think they're innocent now?!" "So what? Haven't you guys done the same?" I stood up, dusting myself with the cloth around my neck. Lamp looked away. "Not as much as this-" "Aha...so you did kill some Pokemon" I walked towards her. "...Tim...please shut up..." "Was it a small one? An innocent child? Or how about an entire village?" My tone raised. "I said shut up...please..." "Maybe it was Tailwind's pappy, or-" Lamp litterally shocked me hard with her electricity, which surged all over the place, scaring off the bugs and birds in the area. "I SAID SHUT UP" She said, glowing with electricity and sparking with it. "Gah..." I was expecting her to do that, just not at that scale. I moved my muscle against the paralysis the electricity was causing. "YOU DIDN'T HAVE MY LIFE, YOU DIDN'T EXPERIENCE WHAT I'VE GONE THROUGH, YOU'RE NOT ME-" She realized what she just said. "Hmhm...someone seems to like stealing my words" I grinned. Lamp calmed down. Without a word, she turned her back at me and floated slowly her way. I followed after her. "Your damn thundershock there almost left me dead" She didn't reply. "Hello? Earth to floating fish?" Lamp looked at me, somewhere between grief and sheer depression was in her eyes. "...please...shut up..." I chuckled darkly, and did so. Lamp stopped in her tracks, I glanced at her. She was looking at me. "I'm...sorry Tim..." She said quietly. "Sorry for what?" I asked, knowing what was coming. "...for...interefering with your private life..." "Mh hm" I nodded. I noticed she was about to cry, so I put my hand on her head. "Listen, things happen in life, nothing is an accident. I know you're not a bad person Lamp, you're no the type to be put behind bars. I just want you to stay alive and focused, please, don't grief yourself over your own mistake. The past is the past-" Chelsea...again, she was looking at me from the trees, glaring with her arms crossed. She dissapeared after some birds flew by her. "Tim?" Lamp asked, "Do...you really mean that?" "...why would I lie" I stood up and turned. "...thanks Tim..." "Whatever" I grunted, and I proceeded on. Lamp gave a little giggle behind me. The stars that night were beautiful, no sounds of a war going on nearby. Just the peaceful night above me. Lamp was setting up the tent with a couple of the creatures of the forest. They were really friendly, like my neighbours and friends back home. On Earth. I was smiling and looking up at the stars above me, my hands on the back of my head, the grass swaying against my body in the misty, night breee. The small clearing of the forest just seemed too calm. A shooting star skimmed the sky. I shut my eyes and made my wish, not to return home nor for Lamp to shut the hell up, it was for Chelsea to rest in peace. It hurts me to hurt her, to see her suffer from this. I opened my eyes, and she was there right above me, glaring down with her yellow eyes. She slammed her hand on my neck, I choked a bit as she raised me. "This will be the last of you here..." She lashed out her claws on the other hand, preparing for a strike. I smiled at her, calmly, happily. She was unmoved but was clearly affected by it. "...stop smiling...being in Hell won't make you happy..." She threw me down and set her foot on me. "Chels..." I held her foot with gentle grip, she still glared at me. "...I...I miss you..." "Bullshit..." She stomped a bit harder, I felt my ribs crack a bit. "You never missed me, just another wife to be tossed aside..." "Hmhm...tell me Chels...did I really cause this? Do you think I'll be able to move on just holding onto you for the rest of your life?" I looked up at her. "Chels, I'd like to live a life too..." "I don't give a damn" She growled. "...hmhm..." I looked at her eyes. "I'm...sorry Chels..." "I don't GIVE A-" My scythe stabbed into her heart, glowing with dark energy. She looked down in shock and stumbled back. I withdrew the scythe calmly, and held her in my grasp. She looked up at me in agony and anger. "...this has to stop Chels..." I pet her head, well, I tried to. "...I'd...like you to rest..." Her expression calmed. "...Tim..." A tear ran down my cheek, it was hard to keep my voice from being shaky. "...I wish none of that happened..." I looked down. Chelsea's hand pressed against my cheek, I looked up at her. She was fading but she was happy. "...it was...not your fault Tim..." She smiled. "I'm...sorry I lost it..." "Hmhm...h-haven't we all" I chuckled weakily, breaking. Chelsea nuzzled her head against my chest. I hugged the air around her, crying. "Timothy..." She said faintly. "I'll always be with you..." "C-chels...don't leave me again..." I gripped my hug, almost realizing that she wasn't there anymore. Her voice sounded around me in the silent forest. "I'll never forget you Tim..." Her last words echoed, "I love you..." I sniffled, and wiped my eyes. "I love you too...Chelsea..." Lamp's light was behind me, faintly. I wiped all evidence of my sadness from my face, and glanced at her. My voice was shaky though. "H-how did it go?" "We're ready for camp, you should rest awhile, we'll be here" Her body froze, so did time around me. An armored, thing, came out of the forest and looked at me. "Timothy" The hooded figure spoke to me. I stanced, I was not taking anymore chances with the undead. "Relax boy" The hooded figure spoke, not making a move. "If I was here to kill you I would've done so already" "What do you want" I asked, holstering my scythe. "We have a problem" "What...problem?" The hooded figure removed his hood. It was another one of those "Lucarios" they speak of. Except this one was tall, had red eyes, and seemed very, very pissed. "The humans have took over the Tower"
