Fred Hunt (February 10, 1926 - April 24, 2000) was a NASCAR driver from Tracy, CA. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Hunt's debut came in 1956, when he competed at Portland. Starting 3rd in the field of twenty, Hunt couldn't translate the start into a finish, struggling to 19th after an axle issue. He didn't improve much at Sacramento, finishing 17th after a transmission issue. Hunt's other race came in 1957, when he competed at Lancaster. Starting 19th in the field of thirty-four, Hunt had an early connector rod issue in the event and finished 28th.
