- Desperate Housewives is commonly known for being a family show that breaks taboos, and thus it is made up of, among many other things, recurring themes that can be found in between the lines of its ongoing and/or episodic stories. A rundown of some of the most remarkable themes of the series can be read below.

- Themes/Genres are a suggested future feature on Habitica. - Fringe has many different themes and messages that run throughout the course of the series. All of the themes tie into a overriding concept of humanity and what it means to be human. - Themes are landscape features in many Worms games, and they include Space, Manhattan, Hell, etc. Each of them have different features. For example, the Medieval Theme has a background of a castle with smoke coming out, and the Cheese Theme has a planet made entirely of cheese with spaceships and periscopes with eyes on them. Each theme has different objects. For example, the Sports Theme has arrows and helmets, and the Hell Theme has a cauldron and a Jack-O-Lantern.
