Alisia Varute was born on Kiffu to the Varute clan. From her mother she got her green paint down the side of her cheek marking the family she descended from. Her father Nata Varute was an upstanding member within his clan and played a major role in his daughter’s life. It was Nata that had taught the girl to meditate at an early age. He never intended her to find so much solace within her meditation only to be able to concentrate on what was going on around her so that she could become a great warrior.

Her father Nata Varute was an upstanding member within his clan and played a major role in his daughter’s life. It was Nata that had taught the girl to meditate at an early age. He never intended her to find so much solace within her meditation only to be able to concentrate on what was going on around her so that she could become a great warrior. It was Alisia Varute’s ability to drown everything out except for that which she was concentrating on that made a Jedi Master named Hansi Kursch to identify her as a Force sensitive. When Nata found out about his daughters Force sensitivity he allowed her to travel to Coruscant to become a Jedi, it was his wish she became the greatest warrior she possibly could and Jedi training would do just that. After becoming a Padawan to Master Kursch she began to practice psychometry with the Jedi Master, he helped her develop the technique to a phenomenal state. It was her love of the Force that made Kursch teach her some unique Force techniques including the ability to hide herself within the Force to the point where she could not be seen visually. By passing her trials she became a Jedi Knight and traveled to Corellia where she found her first and only apprentice Jacen Vandaar. She taught the young Jedi much of what she had known about the Force and the two shared a deep force bond. It was this force bond that allowed them to be such great partners on missions that they were sent on as master and apprentice. Later when the two were considered to be peers they went on their final mission together to Kiffu. Where Alisia Varute sacrificed her life so that the leader of another clan might live. This self sacrifice allowed the mission to be completed and the dispute was settled. Alisia contacted her Padawan as she was dying through the Force saying to him, “Stay strong my friend, forever may you fight the darkness.”
