Coldspikes are the prime weapon of the Setenall and are extremely versatile, a non-proficient character may use a Coldspike without penalty, much like a bastard sword, but cannot activate it's secondary function. Those who are proficient with it can use it to it's full extent, firing a beam of freezing alien-gas particles out of the end of the Coldspike as a ranged touch attack dealing 1d8 cold damage with a maximum range of 50 ft.
