The Talaxian system was a trinary star system located in the Delta Quadrant. Two of the stars were G class stars whereas the third was a K class star. The Talaxian system had a least four planets of which Talax IV was the Talaxian homeworld. The system also had at least two class M worlds, Talax and its moon, Rinax. Neelix once commented that although each of the three suns shone on Talax, only one, Mormo, shone on Rinax. The entire system was under the control of the Haakonian Order.
