- Les Gorons (ゴロン Goron) forment le peuple de la pierre. Ils apparaissent dans la quasi totalité des jeux sortis depuis Ocarina of Time et sont devenus incontournables dans la série.
- A resilient people, the Goron race dwells in the deep mountain ranges of Hyrule. Their diet consists of rocks, and the minerals found within. Camouflaged to look like rocks, they can curl up into tight balls to hide in rocky terrain. When they are curled up, Gorons can roll at incredible speeds, often-times quicker than a horse. As this race is made of something like rock, they are amazingly tough, and can also withstand volcanic temperatures. Gorons are extremely strong, but very slow in both movement and combat (a strong exception being when they roll). They cannot swim, and sink like, not surprisingly, rocks.

- The Gorons are a race of rock people inhabiting Hyrule, Termina and several other countries, typically living in mountain ranges. Gorons are one of the most consistently present races throughout the Zelda series, along with Hylians. By the time of The Wind Waker, other major races such as the Zora, Kokiri and Deku are nowhere to be found, presumably having either evolved or migrated. In Skyward Sword, which is shown to be much earlier than the other Zelda games, the Goron race is still exactly the same, but all other races (excluding the Hylians) either do not make an appearance or have not evolved yet.
- Goron was a Trandoshan male hunter who hunted sentient beings on the moon of Wasskah during the year 20 BBY as a member of a Trandoshan hunting guild. Goron, along with fellow Trandoshan Clutch, also served the guild as pilots, flying a HCT-2001 Dragonboat-class Reugeot 905 freighter across the galaxy to kidnap potential prey. After capturing the Wookiee Chewbacca, the freighter was attacked by stranded Jedi younglings when the Trandoshans attempted to drop Chewbacca off on a Wasskah island. Goron climbed out onto the freighter's hull to combat the Jedi directly and was nearly successful. However, Clutch had dueled the Padawan Ahsoka Tano in the starship's cockpit. The damage to the controls and electrical systems caused the ship to crash, with Goron falling from the ship to his death.
- Gorons are a strong race of rock like people, they generally dwell within the mountainous regions. Despite their large and scary appearance they are a very peacful and generally kind race. They are often shown to be a more industrialised race than the others with their large steel mills however some of the other races consider them less intelligent probably due to their large muscles and the steretype of big strong dumb people.
- Goron's prefer to use there strength instead of weapons. However there are a few that do use weapons like hamers or the bombs they make. Some of them ware armor when but scene there skin is so tough they really not need.
- Gorons are a species with a hulking appearance, even though they are usually very peaceful. Gorons have appeared in quite a few Zelda games, originating in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They're large creatures composed mainly of rock, the same type of rock which their buildings are constructed of. They're technology is not as advanced as that of the Hylians, and they're presumably not as bright as either the Hylians or the Zora. However, they are unarguably the most powerful of the races featured in the game. es:Goron
