John Clifford, 9th Baron de Clifford, also 9th Lord of Skipton[citation needed] (8 April 1435 – 28 March 1461), was a Lancastrian military leader during the Wars of the Roses. For a time he was one of the strongest supporters of King Henry VI's Queen, Margaret of Anjou.
