Jiří Hrdina (Born January 5, 1958 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a retired NHL player from the Czech Republic. In 1984 he was a member of the Czechoslovak national hockey team which won silver medal at the Olympic Games in Sarajevo. He is currently a scout for the Dallas Stars. Hrdina was a solid performer for the Czechoslovakian national and Olympic teams in the 1970's and 80's. At the age of 30 he got the chance to play with the Calgary Flames and in his rookie season (1988-89) won the Stanley Cup. He retired after the 1991-92 season.
