Michael Craig "Mike" Judge (b. October 17, 1962) is an American animator, director, screenwriter, voice actor, actor, producer, and musician. He is best known as the creator and star of the animated television series Beavis and Butt-head (1993–1997, 2011–present), King of the Hill (1997–2010), and The Goode Family (2009). He also wrote, directed and in some instances produced the films Beavis and Butt-head Do America (1996), Office Space (1999), Idiocracy (2006) andExtract (2009). Judge is also known for his role as Donnagon Giggles in the Spy Kids movie franchise.

  • Mike's film Office Space is referenced in "The Father, the Son, and the Holy Fonz" when Peter summons the film's antagonist Bill Lumbergh to give instructions to Lois and again in "I Dream of Jesus" when Stewie and Brian smash Peter's "Surfin' Bird" record in a manner which parodies a scene from the film, complete with the usage of the song "Still" by rap group Geto Boys. He is mentioned in "And Then There Were Fewer" when Peter and the rest of the gang confront Tom Tucker when they believe Tucker is the murderer. Mike voices Hank Hill in "Bigfat".

Prior to King of the Hill, Judge was famous for the MTV series Beavis & Butt-Head, about two dimwitted neer-do-wells, which achieved popularity. Although neither of the titular characters ever made an appearance on King of the Hill, a minor character on the show, Tom Anderson, did serve as a precursor for King of the Hill. Hank Hill was considered to be a younger version of Tom Anderson.
