abstract	Molly is the daughter of a lord who serves the Queen of England. Intelligent and feisty, she is thirteen years old and is assigned to protect a trunk full of magic dust and keep it out of the reach of evil men. Our heroine is cared for by her nanny, Mrs. Bumbrake. They get captured by the evil pirate Bill Slank and locked in the dungeon. That is when Molly meets the boy who would become Peter Pan and his friends Prentiss and Teddy. She promises to lead them to safety and becomes their surrogate mother. Molly communicates with her father and realizes that his ship is overrun by pirates, led by the diabolical Black Stache. She fights for the chest and jump off the ship to escape. Molly finally finds the boys on Mollusk Island, get captured by the natives, and are about to be fed to the monstrous crocodile Mr. Grin. They escape and discover Lord Aster captured by the Black Stache. After a fierce battle, the pirate is defeated and Lord Aster is rescued. Molly and Peter part ways, but their love is unbreakable.
