Byron ELA Language School is located at the former premises of a main stream children's school. With recent refurbishments the school is now well placed to become a leading centre of English tuition for the overseas visitor wishing to either learn English from scratch or to improve their English to a level that will enable them to enter an English speaking university. Byron Bay, located at the easterly most point of Australia, has a personality and atmosphere that is unique. With the hinterlands filled with fantastic bushwalks and waterfalls out to the west and the Pacific Ocean awaiting budding scuba divers and surfers at its eastern doorstep, Byron Bay has become one of Australia's favourite destinations. The school is running a number of different English language courses catering to a variety of needs and tastes for students from all backgrounds. Students are travelling to Australia to learn English from many countries. In particular there has been a strong influx of students from South Korea, Japan, Europe and South America.
