| - In August 2934, Kathleen Iberia-Lafayette, a professor of Women's Studies at the University of Gevaro, was named to the cabinet of Serena Vos Van Til as Minister of Health and Social Services. In 2937, she was elected General Secretary of the party by 11.2%. In the August 2938 elections, Iberia-Lafayette won 44% in her bid for President. She also saw the party lose 173 seats. She, however, was elected Governor of Gevaro with 55% of the vote and claimed a seat in Parliament. In the August 2942 elections, she was elected President of Baltusia. However, her party still lost seats but won overall control of Parliament. Four years later, she lost reelection by 1.54%. The party lost an additional 84 seats. Following her defeat in the 2950 elections, Iberia-Lafayette announced her intention to stand down as leader of the Social Democrats.
