Dantari grew upon on Vellity with his parents on their farm which the planet mostly consisted of. Being a half Borneck on his father's side, Dantari loved it. His mother was human as they lived happily on their farm growing foodstuffs for the wide galaxy. It was a simple life he lived on Vellity. He helped his parents on their wide ranch which spanned about three football fields. They had quite a lot of land and the Empire had grown to be accustomed to the family which gave the Galactice Empire their food. Agriculture was a way of life for a Borneck. Not that his parents weren't hating it, no, they loved it. Having a good life and making food for all was what they had dreamed of doing. It wasn't until a syndicate on their homeworld wanted the land for developing a corporate run casino and shopping district aside from the many farms surrounding the Baltedius farm the corporation/syndicate wanted to exploit the fun that casinos and malls made on the Borneck species. It would 'give them something to do while not farming', one executive said. So as Dantari's father went into town to get supplies for the family farm, his father was murdered outside the local general store. The incident was claimed to be a 'robbery' and nothing more was said. That was when Dantari was a young teenager, around 15 or so. Grieving, Dantari's mother had been given the reigns of the farm. The corporation then hounded her for many years to come. At first it was subtle, giving her hints they wished to buy it. They sent letters, made appearances, sent lawyers to the farm. All were denied by his mother. The farm remained and prospered. This apparently angered the executives who wished their buildings made within a decade. If they wished to cash in on the profits and benefits of having them there near a major city. So, they sent more letters, and lawyers. Hounded her non-stop every day. They would stalk outside their home at night. It wasn't until Dantari was already an adult he was given the task of being the head of the farm while his mother still owned it, just didn't do day to day operations. Dantari was the responsibility of keeping it up while his mother kept the hounds at bay. Dantari loved it though. Still, he wasn't sure what would happen because he was young, and, as a Borneck he would live a lot longer then his mother. Though not as long as his species would. He guessed he'd be at least a hundred before he really would 'age' more or less. Those thoughts always made him chuckle. He'd learn a lot though in that time. Whatever way he could. His mother paid for him to go to business school. Which he went till he got a degree at the local university. Studying agriculture and business ownership. Getting his associates degree in both aspects. He remained at home keeping up the family farm while going to school and making sure his mother was okay as she kept the corporate hounds at bay. Eventually the syndicate was fed up with the dealings the executives did under them. The two leaders, whom never were mentioned or even known to any of the executives, then plotted something sinister. One day while the son was away, as they kept watch over everything that happened at the Baltedius farm, waited till he was gone before storming the farm. Going through the gates with a heavily armored speeder they stormed through. His mother rushed outside to see what was going on. Before long she was gunned down by a swarm of the corporation/syndicate's goons. In a matter of seconds she fell to the ground dead outside her door. Dantari returned an hour later after his class had ended. Upon seeing the chaos as the corporation had nearly destroyed the crops and killed most of the livestock. His reaction was that of utter sadness. Wondering what happened to his mother he rushed inside. Upon throwing open the door the young man was shocked and appaled by what he saw. Inside his mother was strung up like a animal being slaughtered with the words 'You don't sell this place...your next!' written in his mother's blood. The kind gentle soul of the young Dantari and the pacifistic natured half Borneck then faded. His green eyes blazed with anger.Family
