The Archduchy of Banstill (Vanukeaans: Aartshertogdom Banstill, Wrnukek: Banstiz Hldjezbeknstat) was the feudal state established after the collapse of the Ahmadi Caliphate. The heirs of the former Khans of the Banster united against the Krlmék and Brmék Ahmadists that ruled Vanuku during the era of the Caliphate. With the Caliph no longer able to protect them the Hosian Banmek and Trmek quickly seized power. The Archduchy existed, in one form or another, as an independent state from the 15th century to the 22nd century. From 1702 to 1815 it was an elector state of the old Confederacy. The Archduchy was the monarchist state fighting against the republicans during the War of Unification. After losing the war the last Archduke abdicated and the nation of Vanuku was officially united.
