The Zol Nesting Grounds are the ZNG's secret hideout, first discovered by leader Nintendoer. They uncovered it whilst adventuring in the desolate Drablands and, after mercilessly and genocidally exterminating the unusually peaceful Zols who lived there, converted it into a totally rad hangout. The Zol Nesting Grounds contains the ZNG meeting hall and several treasure caches where the Nerds store their items (better known as Zelda Nerd Gear). Elzonire has been known to disappear into the Zol Nesting Grounds for days at a time; nobody knows for certain just what he does there, although many theories float about that he secretly prepares fashionable garments and smuggles them to Lady Maud.

The hideout has provisions for weathering out storms, and a stock of extra Wii Remotes and batteries. The ZNG decorates the Zol Nesting Grounds seasonally, expending great amounts of effort to paint the walls the exact shade as the grass outside. The motives for this initiative are still unknown. Ed™ loves to bring fried chicken to the Zol Nesting Grounds and drip it all over the place, destroying the effort taken by the little enslaved zombie Zols to paint the walls. Whenever this happens, they shriek pitifully, in a similar manner to ReDeads, driving Ed™ from the place. In a state of considerable distress, the zombie Zols waddle over to Matthew, who coos "Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword!" softly in their ears to calm them, after which they promptly resume their laborious painting of the walls.
