| - NIWA Annualversary 2009 (chronologically known as Annualversary I) is a yearly anniversary supershow put on by the National Internet Wrestling Alliance (NIWA). The event took place on May 30, 2009 in the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The event featured nine professional wrestling matches. The main event featured Chuck Norris defending the NIWA World Heavyweight Championship against Zangief and "Mr. WrestleMania" JTH. Norris was able to retain the title after "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels laid out Zangief with Sweet Chin Music. The NIWA World Heavyweight Championship was on the line in the opening match. It ended in a double pin when Zangief interfered in the match laying out both Norris and JTH. Also at the event, the Socialites (Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie) defeated The Princesses (Princess Peach and Princess Daisy) in their open challenge to become the first NIWA World Tag Team Champions, Xena Warrior Princess defeated Gabrielle to retain the NIWA World Women's Championship, "The Trendkiller" Fozzie Osbourne defeated Mr. Clean to become the first NIWA World Brass Knuckles Champion, The Warios were able to retain the NIWA World Tag Team Championship because they were disqualified, and Blitz defeated Spider-Man to retain the NIWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
