The attraction is set to close at an unknown date, however, on July 3rd, 2015, it was confirmed a new Indiana Jones attraction would be in it's place, it would be a clone of Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland.

The show featured prominently the following year in another special, New Kids on the Block at Disney-MGM Studios: Wildest Dreams; Donnie Wahlberg played the part of Indiana Jones.
