| - Ross Croft Taylor (October 2, 1905 – 1984) was a Canadian ice hockey player who competed in the 1928 Winter Olympics. In 1928 he was a member of the Toronto Varsity Grads, the Canadian team which won the gold medal, as well as the 1926-27 Allan Cup Final.
- Taylor was a sound effects editor on the classic horror film The Exorcist, for which he received a BAFTA Film Award nomination. He also received an Academy Award nomination as sound effects editor on the 1977 film The Deep. He and his longtime partner and significant other Kitty Malone worked together on The Deep as well as many other films, including Apocalypse Now, Chinatown (featuring Roy Jenson), The Electric Horseman (featuring Nicholas Coster and James B. Sikking), Star Wars, and Urban Cowboy. Taylor passed away on 17 June 2007 at the age of 83.
