Ransim was an ancient and forgotten port-city during the early years of Sanctuary, when the Sin War was raging. Ransim had been hidden from the bulk of the Sin War and the general populace. The port city had been an enigma, something that shouldn’t have existed. Some of the eastern mages had chosen that place to work and hide in, and they’d left secrets behind. One of those mages was the Vizjerei chronicler Dumal Lunnash, who had witnessed and chronicled the events surrounding Jere Harash's death. Lunnash apparently referred to the legendary city in his sacred and now forgotten texts.
