Romeo and Juliet...with sea lions. The story follows, of course, Romeo and Juliet, two Star-Crossed Lovers who decide to marry in order to be together and free Juliet from an arranged marriage with an elephant seal. Of course, things don't go well. Former Disney-animator Phil Nibbelink created the entire film by drawing directly into Flash 4 on his Wacom tablet, so on one hand it's kinda impressive, considering he did it all by himself. On the other hand, it's...it's just bad. Reviewed here.

On the other hand, it's...it's just bad. This movie was distributed by 20thCenturyFox and released in the United States on March 22, 2006, and on July 22, 2006 in Europe, grossing a total of $463,002. Reviewed here. * Abhorrent Admirer: Prince * All of the Other Reindeer: Everyone is against Romeo and Juliet's love--even land animals. * Creator's Child-Cameo: Kissy is voiced by Nibbelink's daughter. * Disney Death: Romeo, Juliet, and Mercutio. But really, since this is a kiddie version, do we really need to spoiler-tag this? * Everything's Worse with Bears * Everything's Even Worse with Sharks * Get a Room * Love At First Sight * Punny Name: Kissy, the kissing fish. * Shipper on Deck: Kissy * Star-Crossed Lovers: Duh. * Tastes Like Diabetes * Trailers Always Spoil: Both trailers give away the ending...but then again, it shouldn't be a surprise, should it? * Tying Up Romantic Loose Ends: After Romeo and Juliet's love is accepted, Prince quickly marries another elephant seal. * Unfortunate Implications: The Montagues are brown in color, and the Capulets are white. Does This Remind You of Anything?? * Also, Mercutio likes to make "Capulet jokes," which are actually racist jokes, with the word "Capulet" replacing the racial slur. ("What do you call a hundred Capulets at the bottom of the ocean? A good start!") More than a few people were uncomfortable with it... * We Will Not Use Stage Makeup Underwater: Averted. Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio sneak into a Capulet party by covering themselves in white sand. * What's an X Like You Doing In a Y Like This?: Mercutio tries this on a Capulet...and quickly sees she has bad teeth.
