The Merchant, originally a character from 2004 horror game "Resident Evil 4" is a character who only appears in Food Battle 2009. He is portrayed by Ian. The Merchant says "Greetings, Stranger. What are you selling? I'll buy it a high price" He first buys a vase that Anthony dug up with his Burrito Shovel for $11. Later, he was enjoying his new vase when Ian's Pink Frosted Sprinkled Donut, attempting to be a boomerang, hits the vase and causes it to hit the ground, breaking it. He was singing " The little vase is not my lover, it's just, before the vase breaks. The Merchant exclaims "Oh sh*t". Apparently, the Merchant likes Michael Jackson, or the song" Billy Jean."
