The Wanda Alston House is a transitional housing center for LGBT teens aged 16 to 22 opened on July 8, 2008. It is a three-story, eight-bedroom brick building and is located on the 800 block of 46th Street, N.E. in the Deanwood neighborhood of Washington, D.C.. It is named after Wanda Alston, a local lesbian activist who was murdered under suspicious circumstances in 2005.
