In "The Finale, Part 2," District Attorney Hoyt does his opening statement by stating that the Good Samaritan law was passed by the City Council last year and vows that they will pay. After hearing the testimonies of Officer Matt Vogel and the Overweight Victim, he calls Mabel Choate to the stand. As Jackie objects to this because Mabel wasn't there, District Attorney Hoyt states that the prosecution has gone to great lengths to find the character witnesses claiming that how they interacted with the defendants is part of an anti-social behavior that's been going on for years. Judge Arthur Vandelay overrules the objection so that he can hear what Mabel Choate has to say. District Attorney Hoyt then talks with other character witnesses that the prosecution has rounded up. James Rebhorn portrayed him.
