The Ocelot-class corvette was designed for the Navy of the Pacific Union for near-coast patrol work. It has been design with an eye towards stealth, reducing the radar signature by significant amounts. It is primarily optimzed around the anti-submarine warfare mission, with attention also paid to the air self defense. Surface warfare is primarily done though either the ships gun, use of the SAM in surface to surface mode, or though the ship's helicopter. The SAMs are carried in two blocks, one forward near the gun, and the other aft, each equal in size.
