September 10th, 1966 - "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," the first Sonic television series, it is the only live action Sonic the Hedgehog series, featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Espio, Charmy, Mighty, Vector and Dr. Robotnik, and his robots, Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts. The series made its debut on CBS, in competition with "Batman," "The Green Hornet," "Tarzan," "The Hero," and "Star Trek." June 3rd, 1969 - "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," was cancelled by CBS due to low ratings. August 29th, 1973 - Fleetway Animations announced plans for a first thirteen episode Sonic the Hedgehog animated series to air on fall of 1975. September 6th, 1975 - "Sonic X," the first Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, makes its hit debut, featuring Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Dr. Robotnik (renamed Dr. Eggman) and introducing Cream the Rabbit, the chaos and Rouge the Bat... February 27th, 1976 - Yukina Naka dies in severe heart attack, delaying "Sonic X"'s second season to December 1976. January 29th, 1977 - Super Sonic makes his first appearance in "Sonic X." September 17th, 1977 - Chaos, E-102 Gamma, Tikal the Echidna makes her first appearance in "Sonic X." The plot of its third season is similar to OTL's "Sonic Adventure." September 16th, 1978 - Due to the success of "Star Wars," "Sonic X"'s fourth season plot is similar to OTL's "Sonic Adventure 2," in which Shadow the Hedgehog makes his debut in the show. September 15th, 1979 - Espio, Vector, Charmy, Ray and Mighty make their debut on Sonic X during its fifth season, which plot is about the long eclipse of the Sun. December 6th, 1980 - "Sonic X" is put on hiatus after the last episode where Sonic and his friends return to their dimension, because Fleetway is making the first feature-length Sonic the Hedgehog motion picture. June 4th, 1982 - The first Sonic the Hedgehog motion picture, "Sonic the Hedgehog: The Motion Picture," makes its hit debut, it features Sonic, Charmy, Mighty, Ray and Dr. Eggman (appearing in the opening scene where he is shot down by the film's major villainess) and introduces Sally Acorn, Bunnie Rabbot, Antoine D'Coolette and Rotor Walrus. The plot is similar to OTL's "The Rescuers." Critics say the first Sonic movie is too boring and fans call it, "Sonic the Hedgehog: The Motionless Picture." However, the movie was successful enough to put "Sonic X" out of hiatus. September 18th, 1982 - Cosmo the Seedrian and the Metarex makes their hit debut on "Sonic X." December 3rd, 1983 - "Sonic X" ends its run after 104 episodes, after Cosmo sacrifices herself to save the galaxy in the final episode. June 14th, 1985 - "Sonic the Hedgehog 2," makes its hit debut, featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Sally, Vector, Charmy, Espio, Mighty and Ray. September 13th, 1986 - "Sonic Underground," the second Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, which is the prequel to "Sonic X," makes its hit debut, featuring Sonic, Tails, Dr. Eggman, Knuckles, and introduces Sonic's siblings, Sonia and Manic, and two bounty hunters, Sleet and Dingo, and Metal Sonic. December 3rd, 1988 - "Sonic Underground," was cancelled due to low ratings like AoStH. June 9th, 1989 - "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Sally, Vector, Charmy, Espio, Sonia, Manic, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Metal Sonic and Dr. Eggman, flops at the box office, putting the future Sonic feature films in a hold for seven years. September 16th, 1989 - "Sonic Ultra," the third Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, which is the sequel to "Sonic Underground," makes its hit debut, it is the same as OTL's Sonic SatAM, featuring Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Sally, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Sonia, Manic, Dr. Eggman and introduces Snively Robotnik, Barby Koala, Tommy Turtle, Hershey the Cat and Nicole the Linx. December 1st, 1990 - "Sonic Ultra," was cancelled due to low ratings like its predecessor and AoStH, but unlike Sonic Underground, which featured Sonic, Manic and Sonia returning to their mother, Queen Aleena. Sonic Ultra features a cliffhanger ending with the glowing red eyes behind Snively. June 1st, 1991 - Fleetway Animations merged with Paramount Pictures. During the merging, Fleetway redesigns all the Sonic characters. January 20th, 1992 - "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog animated series, and the first forty episode series in syndication, set in a different continuity from "Sonic X," makes its hit debut, featuring the newly redesigned Sonic (with green eyes), Tails (with blue eyes), Amy (with green eyes), Knuckles (with purple eyes), Sally, Bunnie, Antoine, Rotor, Nicole, Sonia, Manic, Dr. Eggman, Scratch, Grounder and reintroduces Shadow (with red eyes) and Rouge (with blue-green eyes) from "Sonic X," and introduces Dr. Horatio Quack, Mina and Ash Mongoose and Fiona Fox. September 1st, 1992 - Charmy Bee, Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chamelion and Cream the Rabbit makes her reintroduction in "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog." November 30th, 1992 - Blaze the Cat makes her debut in "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog." November 28th, 1997 - "New Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," ends its run on television after 440 episodes, with Sally becoming Metal Sonic in the series finale. September 12th, 1998 - "Sonic Heroes," makes its hit debut on television, featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Big the Cat (from Sonic X), Rouge, Shadow, Blaze, Marine, Emerl (from Sonic X), Espio, Charmy, Vector, Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Metal Sally and introduces E-123 Gamma. December 12th, 1998 - "Sonic Heroes" was cancelled like Sonic Ultra due to low ratings and a cliffhanger.
