The Shop Customer called at The Kabin to collect his regular order of the Pig Producers' Monthly in June 1973, soon after the changeover from its prior incarnation as Biddulph's newsagent. When he found there was no “supplement”, he asked if Walter Biddulph had been in touch with Denmark. He asked to speak with Walter direct and was told he’d sold up and gone. He immediately cancelled his subscription, leaving behind a very puzzled Rita and Mavis who surmised that as Denmark had a lot of bacon, they must also have a lot of pigs. They later discovered that Biddulph had been selling under-the-counter pornography wrapped up in the magazine.
