An ocean (from Ancient Greek Ὠκεανός, transc. Okeanós, the sea of classical antiquity) is a body of saline water that composes much of a planet's hydrosphere. The word sea is often used interchangeably with "ocean". A soak in seawater is the point here. Seawater will kill just about anything, helps close and heal wounds, is cheap or free, can be used repeatedly, and is possibly to reproduce using Dead Sea Salts. Go to the beach. Change into your swimsuit, or go naked. Swim around for 30 minutes or more.

Wounds will sting. Mites will die, however, it may take a while to kill them all. Belongings left at the water's edge will still have mites in them so this is not a perfect treatment. In some cases it is possible to walk into the ocean fully clothed. This is not recommended as salt water will degrade clothes and normal clothing may assist in drowning you. Wearing light clothes and equipping yourself with waterproof containers designed to be used to protect items in the water and afterwards drying off without using a towel can help. If doing this, be sure to carry with you an amount of moisturiser or protection to apply afterwards. The salt left on the skin after a swim in the ocean is not enough to repel mites.
